Oooops
OK everyone, have reeeeeaaaaalllllly let this thing slide. I have been really busy but I know that’s not a great excuse. I’ve re-tracked my emails and the last week I completed was week 4. Me bad. Am going to pick up where I left off and hopefully make some more new & exciting discoveries!

How much have I been been missing with this Flickr stuff?!?! I’m almost jumping up and down in my chair with how much I love what you can do!!! I’ve even downloaded the app for my iPhone – and the 2 photos I’ve uploaded so far did it instantly! Wowsers. I’m going to have to spend waaaaay more time here

Woo hoo! Using Flickr is fab!! Never knew what I was missing! This photo is from Beaumont Park in Huddersfield (near my new house which I’ve yet to move into!) and it reminds me of being there on Christmas Day – I have a photo which is exactly the same! Very cool image from a very cool (and cold too!) day.
Social stuff
Well I’m still going on Twitter – have yet to tweet but will get there soon. I keep putting things on Facebook but don’t want to duplicate everything. That’s the one last hurdle to get get over and then I’ll be off with re-tweeting and all the rest of it!
Joined LinkedIn too but am not quite sure of the merits of it yet… Facebook is definitely my social network of choice at the moment (certainly the one I use most) although Twitter’s moving up the board quite quickly. LinkedIn seems a bit static for me and I couldn’t seem to find anyone I knew so kind of seems to defeat the object of it ?!
Anyway, half term this week so am a bit quieter with no schools to visit (yay!) so can hopefully crack on with last weeks stuff which I have now got round to in my inbox! Slowly but surely….!!!
Addictive!!
So, an update. I’m still going with Twitter – but am getting a bit addicted to it! Keep looking at other people that people I’m following are following (does that make any sense?!?!) and adding them too! Think I might have to work out if you can categorize things in any way to make it a bit easier or or might never do any work!! Oh, and I’ve discovered that I’m called a ‘tweep’!! Good or not? Anyway, off to do my next things (from last week…. struggling to get time to do everything at the moment!) although am already on Facebook so am hoping it will be relatively painless!
The Twits
OK so I’m now on Twitter…. feels like I’ve been plugged in to something I never really understood so am going top have to make an effort to make it work for me. Following Chris Evans, Stephen Fry, & David Mitchell so far (yes, there’s a theme there!) Any other suggestions appreciated!
A bit less scared!
Well I’m a step closer to feeling like I know what this blog stuff’s all about – so I guess that’s progress?! Hope it starts to make more sense when I have time to mess about with it a bit more!
